Solar/Hybrid Light Tower (SHYB)

Progress Solar™ Solar/Hybrid™ Mobile Light Towers (SHYB) feature the addition of a backup generator to our standard light tower to ensure 24/7 availability, 12 months per year.  We have renamed our mobile solary hybrid light towers as HELIOS-HYB for 2025!

This Solar/Hybrid light tower functions similarly to our HELIOS-2 models, but employs the use a propane, gasoline, or diesel generator as a backup power source.  During periods of inclement weather or northern areas in the winter this system will automatically charge the units batteries to ensure availability. 

Each model offers two independent high quality solar power arrays producing up to 2250 watts; 80k lumens of high-efficiency LED floodlights; and long-life, deep-cycle no maintenance AGM batteries.  We have the newest technology bi-facial solar panels and a geometry that allows them to produce more power than ever.

The light tower is fully adjustable from 8-23 ft in height. Lights can be tilted up/down and rotated individually, and the mast can be rotated. 

Our units are built for harsh conditions and vibration.  We feature solid state components that are rated IP66 or greater. Our LED lights run up to 5x longer between changes than metal halide lights and do not dim over their life the way metal halides do.

Lights can be timer-controlled, run via photocell, or operated manually.  Our systems are housed in an industrial quality portable trailer that can be easily towed to the destination.
