Solar/Hybrid Light Tower (SHYB)

Progress Solar™ Solar/Hybrid™ Mobile Light Towers (SHYB) feature the addition of a backup generator to our standard light tower to ensure 24/7 availability, 12 months per year.  

This Solar/Hybrid light tower is identical to our standard SLT models, but employs the use a propane, gasoline, or diesel generator as a backup power source.  During periods of inclement weather or northern areas in the winter this system will automatically charge the units batteries to ensure availability. 

Each model offers two independent high quality solar power arrays (800 to 4000 Watt options); high-lumen and high efficiency LED floodlights; and long-life, deep-cycle AGM batteries. 

The light tower is fully adjustable from 8-23 ft in height. Lights can be tilted up/down and rotated individually, and the mast can be rotated. 

Our units are built for harsh conditions and vibration.  We feature shatter resistant solid state components that are rated IP66 or greater. Our LED lights run up to 5x longer between changes than metal halide lights and do not dim over their life the way metal halides do.

Lights can be timer-controlled, run via photocell, or operated manually.  Our systems are housed in an industrial quality portable trailer that can be easily towed to the destination.
